We are the Vernon Performing Arts Festival Society. A newly formed society providing opportunities for the Vernon community to show off their talent and to take expert advice from experienced artists. Many festivals like this are currently taking place in other communities. We believe that Vernon students should be given this same opportunity. Skills acquired through a performing arts festival experience are life changing. These skills improve one’s craft and influence their daily life: Confidence, presentation, accepting correction, learning to accept mistakes. Many of these skills are rare to find in our modern world. We hope this Festival turns into an event that brings community building and appreciation for the arts. We believe that creativity takes courage and hope to grow a courageous Vernon arts community.

Member-at-Large: Jenny Sunderland - UVic Piano Performance graduate.
